If you've had enough of popcorn try..... Sorghum. I had never heard of this grain before but its apparently one of the top 5 cereal crops in the world (along with oats, barley, wheat and corn). It originated in Africa and has spread to Asia and the Americas. In its traditional form this plant is over 6ft tall and the stalks are put to a variety of uses.
Cook it in a pot coated in canola oil over high heat, shaking until all grains are popped. Then drizzle with olive oil and a dash of sale for a crunchy snack.
